Well here is a little update for ya all!
I'm happy that I have been out of the stock market, for now at least! They have been in such turmoil with erratic swings, so I guess it was a blessing of sorts.
I have nearly bought my furniture back, well 7,000 dollars out of the 10,000 needed. Jesus I'm being ripped off!
We won the court case with the land lord, but then he appealed, at least he has stuck his ugly head above ground....finally! So we go back to court next week, why doesn't he just pay us what he owes?? A corrupt imbecile I guess!
We have a new car, our son is over and our daughter comes next week. Bubble turned into copycasts.com and is work in progress! All but 1 of our debts are paid up, they were only ever debts to family members anyway.
So come on nasty landlord, pay us back today, it will then clear the rest of the furniture and finally, after a year, buy me a bed!! Anhhhh bliss!

Finishing up
I think I may finish up on marigolds blog.
I don't have enough money to buy any shares, which was meant to be the focal point on here, and I'm getting busy over on bubble.com.
I may come back one day, when my fortunes improve or you may just find me working in the local Ralphs!

Snap out of it girl!
Well I'm fed up of being fed up! Time to stop and get my mojo back! After all I have my health and I have hope, which is something money can't buy.
I know I put my plans out there, but as the saying goes, make god laugh...tell him your plans!
So no more depression, only good from now on!
I am still searching for money, after all, you can never be too thin or too rich, so weight watchers start on Thursday and I am out actively looking for a job. I did think about applying to be on Deal or No Deal, but apparently it's been canned, in the US anyway! So need to find another game show so I can win lots of money!
Does anyone know any good shows? I will probably need help to stay focused on weight watchers too, so may be calling everyone for help. If any one wants to join me on the diet, drop me a line and we can swap recipes and motivational ideas.

Giz us a job!!
Still trying hard! How do people get rich?
Just how do they get stinking, filthy rich? Like the shares there must be a secret formula?
I was hoping to make my fortune on the shares, I still do, but I need money first! How can I get loads of money? How do people make money bloggin? Tell me!!
If you want to use this for your advertising, then I will happily accommodate you! Does anyone know how to really truely make money on line? I dont mean by writing adverts for google or anything. Im after serious cash?
Has anyone made money on the internet....let me know how!! If you want me to try a product that you are selling, then If its good, I will plug it to death here and on twitter, and, any where else too!
If anyone is looking and wants to help, my ideal job would be working 3 or 4 mornings a week. I would put in a bit of extra time on occasion if needed. Pay must be starting at $250,000 per year plus bonuses. Full health benefits of course and a company car would come in very handy. Holiday pay would be nice, but hey, lets not be greedy!

I had an email about the blog post I did yesterday.
It seems I am not the only one who is disappointed with visa or lack of visa acceptance by the US embassies. It is an ongoing drama in the Marigold household, as the situation is still not sorted out. I have got to the point where I am just fed up with it and I dont even like thinking about it. It stresses me and saddens me, and, it makes my tummy churn knowing we are going to have to go through another application in the next 2 months. If they refuse my son again, I cant see the customs allowing him to come back over. So, if you like, its encouraging people to break the law and stay in the states illegally. If they issue an ESTA, then they should allow someone to travel on it. The average flight is probably $1000, and not many people can lose that amount if they buy a ticket only to be refused entry at the port. My son is not a criminal or risk, he has returned within the 90 day limit every time he has visited the states. Yet he twice has had to go through questioning at the airport. He wants to come to the states because his parents and brother are currently living here on E2 visas. The B2 visa, can be used for a family member who cannot be included on a non-immigrant visa. Its written in black and white, so why is it not used for this purpose? What is the point of having this visa if it is not going to be issued? My son has a place at college, a flat he rents and utility bills in his name, so pray tell, how does he prove his ties?? GGrrrrr im getting annoyed again!
I have nothing against the American people, in fact, they have been nothing but lovely to me and my family. Its the system. My experience with diplomats has only been with 1: trying to organise visas and 2: an ex landlord who refuses to repay a security deposit of nearly $6,000. I have written and telephoned the mexican embassy where he and his wife are based, but they ignore me or hang up the telephone. Let me explain to you, here in California it is law that they repay security deposits within 14 days or give you a written explanation as to why they are withholding it. We have had neither. Infact, we have had nothing. So they are breaking the law, yes, they have broken the law just like a criminal. I have emailed the secretary of state, and explained... they have done nothing. I even emailed President Obama, and, still not so much as a sniff. So the American government are harboring criminals. They are protecting one who works for them, so they can get out of their obligations. Now, how would that make joe bloggs on the street feel? Joe Bloggs, who cannot afford to make ends meet, who has baliffs knocking on his door taking his possessions because he cannot pay his bills? Its double standards and it is not acceptable. Diplomats should be upstanding members of the community, yet they are criminals hiding behind the government and the government allow them to do so. How can they tell us how to behave when they are no better themselves?
Im sorry, but, it had to be said!
It was the down turn in the economy which killed my familys bank balance. No work for 1 year. yes, we are fighting back, but, its a long time coming. Our furniture still has not arrived from Europe. This is because the Removal Group, Birmingham UK, took payment for our possessions to be moved from Italy to USA. Once they had our things, they put the cost of the removal up another $10,000! So we cannot afford to have furniture. So yes, we have been sleeping on the floor for 1 year. We are saving every penny to re-buy our own furniture. We should have just put it into storage. But, now we cannot even do that as they will sue us for breach of contract. No matter what, they want the money. If it was just furniture I would say forget it, but its photos and pictures of my family from the past 20 years. Its personal items, clothes and books. yes, we have made do with 1 suitcase of clothes for the last year too! Again, its upsetting to think about, but if we bought new furniture and clothes, then it will be even longer before we can afford to get our things back!
Isnt my life so depressing!
Anyway, I feel I have a millionaire inside of me! I am so positive that I can make money on share trading. i have read so many books and paper traded for about 5 years, I know that one day I will get there, and, let me tell you....I am gonna have one hell of a party to celebrate!!

Update
Well, its been a while since I last reported back here, so I thought an update was in order! Where do I begin??
Firstly, nothing and I mean nothing has happened on the trading front....ha ha I hear you reply. Yes, feel free to laugh away, I would too if I was in your position! I still dearly want to make a living out of this trading malarkey, but hey, I just dont have a bean to spare. Its so depressing, one step forward and 8 back. I am still charting and reading many trading books, so the intention is still there, just the cash is not easy to come by.
In my personal life so much has happened. My poor nan died aged 93, so sad I could not attend her funeral. Back to the lack of cash, couldnt afford the flight from the states to the UK, so that made me doubly sad. Also a friend died, again couldnt return for the funeral. He has left 2 gorgeous little girls so a real real sad event and such a waste of a decent guy.
My eldest son was twice refused a visa to come over and stay with us. So we had to send every spare penny to him so he could put a roof over his head. They say at the embassy he couldnt prove his ties with the UK. That aside they dont have to treat people with such rudeness. Then the guy kept his passport which is highly illegal and then denied it. We had to fill out a file with the police saying it was stolen, but because it was a us diplomat we were told to forget it. So my son had to get a new passport (not cheap when I am broke), and of
course it looked bad when he tried to fly back to the states on it, they said he was trying to hide something. Its so frustrating. A lawyer told us there was no reason he was refused a visa other than the guy taking a dislike to him. It makes me so mad, we pay our way, pay all our bills and taxes on time. I walk down the street and see the mexicans touting for work, probably all undocumented. Dont want to sound bitter.......
Still havent got my money back from the pathetic guy of a landlord. Another diplomat hhmmmm! All the time I am so broke I am still sleeping on the floor.
So where do I go from here?
Onward and upward I hope. Does anyone have any ideas how to get some cash and quick? How have you made money? Lets pool our resources and get some ideas flowing, then we can all benefit!!

Fed up day
My up has never been so fed today!
I'm so down, fed up with being broke. You have to have money to make money, I haven't got any so I'm not making any! Really could do with 50,000 it so right now!
