I have been noticing lately how the Hang Seng Index has been on the decline. If you look at the monthly chart comparing it to, say, the Dow index, they are going in opposite directions.
I wonder if this will turn out to be significant?

....still waiting
It's been a bright and beautiful sunny Monday, how I enjoy days like these, it reminds me of what we came to southern California for!
The markets also felt the spring touch, they have been steady for a few days now. I'm hoping the shares I'm charting will start to form boxes. There are 3 which seem to be the strongest and are resisting the drops, these 3 are DBLE, DEPO and DTLK. I just need a push from one of them into a new box which will give me a buy point.
There are 3 others which have started to rise quite nicely, MOBI, ALJ and HF.
It would definitely be easier if there was a clear leader, I want to buy the right one! I'm hoping this week will make it obvious, I'm so ready to buy right now and start on the ladder to my millions!!

Super bowl
Hope everyone enjoys the Super bowl tomorrow. I'm afraid I really don't know anything about it, non the less, we have been invited to a super bowl party. So, not being one to refuse a party invitation, I look forward to seeing what all the fuss is about.
Staying on a sporting note, well done England for beating the Welsh at the 6 nations Friday night. Was great viewing and I can't wait for England vs Italia next weeked at Twickers!!!
Well, last week was a really good week. The 6 things I wanted to happen during February, well looks like 5 of them have arrived, don't want to jinx things, but it's not bad going for the first 5 days in Feb!
I hope next week is just as good, no wait, I'm being greedy! I hope next week is even better, and I hope it's a good one for you too!

Freaky monkey waiter
Just been watching Justin Lee Collins show Turning Japanese. I love his shows, but this one is a bit weird. In a bar he was served by a monkey, wearing what looked like a Micheal Jackson wig and mask. It just was not right. The poor little thing dropped some ice and looked petrified. It makes you wonder how it's treated when the tv cameras are not rolling. Seriously, it was disturbing, I don't think I will sleep well tonight, I'm gonna keep seeing the little chap!
Have narrowed my shares down to 3 again, but now I'm just waiting for a box to form and as soon as it pushes through to a new high, I will buy. Was hoping to buy into one by now, but I'm sure I will by this time next week.
Mr marigold finishes at his job next week and starts a new contract. This has been a long time coming, but you know all good things come to those who wait. So hopefully a new car is on the shopping list very soon! We got paid today as well from work finished last November, so feeling happier! In fact, from a list we made last Sunday, of 6 things we wanted to get sorted this month, 2 have happened, a 3rd and 4th are about too, so just 2 more to complete and we will feel we are finally getting there.

Which ones to buy??
Thankfully, the markets are improving after the rubbish that was the last 2 weeks!
If you know the Darvas method of share trading, you will know that the movements of the shares build boxes, therefore the top of the box being the buy point and the bottom the sell. Well, as I said before I had narrowed my choices down to 4-5 which were creating boxes. Most of these shares have bottomed out now and others are pushing through. So I'm still confused as to which to buy, and let's face it, it's not difficult to confuse me!
So I'm not going to buy just for the sake of it, but wait for a strong share to create a strong box and push through the top. I'm eager to buy, but I'm even more eager to get it right!
Please bear with me and as soon as I buy will let you know, then my plan will start.....finally

Now Andy must do it!
I'm so excited for the tennis tonight.....woooo go Andy Murray and be the first Brit to win a slam since 1936!!

Andy Murray
Great game last night and Novak beat Fed woohoo! Now Andy Murray has to beat Ferrer tonight!! That will give me the best Austrailian final possible, and it will shake the rankings up a little bit. It's boring when the same people win all the time, so it's already makes for a nice change.
Also must mention, us Brits have a new kid on the block!! George Morgan is playing his way through the junior rankings at the moment and is already ranked at number 4! Let's face it, we don't have many good players, so we get over excited and have them winning Wimbledon.
Now to rename Henman Hill/Murrays Mount/ what goes with George Morgan?
