Which ones to buy??

Thankfully, the markets are improving after the rubbish that was the last 2 weeks!

If you know the Darvas method of share trading, you will know that the movements of the shares build boxes, therefore the top of the box being the buy point and the bottom the sell. Well, as I said before I had narrowed my choices down to 4-5 which were creating boxes. Most of these shares have bottomed out now and others are pushing through. So I'm still confused as to which to buy, and let's face it, it's not difficult to confuse me!

So I'm not going to buy just for the sake of it, but wait for a strong share to create a strong box and push through the top. I'm eager to buy, but I'm even more eager to get it right!

Will be back to the shares tomorrow, the markets have been crap the past 2weeks, maybe not having a share to buy is my system working, haven't lost a penny!

Andy Murray

Great game last night and Novak beat Fed woohoo! Now Andy Murray has to beat Ferrer tonight!! That will give me the best Austrailian final possible, and it will shake the rankings up a little bit. It's boring when the same people win all the time, so it's already makes for a nice change.

Also must mention, us Brits have a new kid on the block!! George Morgan is playing his way through the junior rankings at the moment and is already ranked at number 4! Let's face it, we don't have many good players, so we get over excited and have them winning Wimbledon.

Now to rename Henman Hill/Murrays Mount/ what goes with George Morgan?

Novak Djokovic

Good luck Djokovic against Federer in the Aussie open tonight, hope you win and wipe out that smug grin.
Of course, if Fed looses, he will have an excuse ready, and is rarely gracious in defeat. So go Novak, go do your stuff!

Too much choice!

Thought I had better give an update on the share situation, since I posted my yearly targets.

Alot of people have said I can't do it, others have said I was brave to put it out there. Well, I have personal targets just like everyone else, I'm simply advertising the fact! If I'm successful then I'll be a hero, if I get no where near my targets then I fail miserably and you have the right to laugh!

In the last week the shares have dipped, but today rebounded quite well. This has changed my charts quite considerably. It has shown some shares I thought were strong, to actually be quite weak, whereas others have bucked the trend and have pushed through new boxes. So now a dilemma. I don't know which one to buy into. I want to be sure and buy the right one. Last week I'd narrowed it down to 3 or 4, but now I have 6 or 7 to choose from!

So instead of rushing, I'm waiting for the right share to show itself. I'm still standing by my targets, but want to get it right!

Roast dinner

I love Sundays! Got a slow roast in the oven and it smells divine!! It's been a glorious sunny weekend and I've overdosed on the tennis. Looking forward to the Murray match this evening, he has played brilliantly so far, please please let him continue to do so. Soderling is looking a little dangerous and Federer as annoying as ever!

The PI has tracked down the crooks which are our ex-landlords. They are down in Mexico. Talking with the courts tomorrow, we can still sue them in California as the house is CA. So just arranging for someone to serve the papers. I kinda wish I was able to do it myself, it would give me the biggest pleasure, but instead, I wait to see them in court!

The markets were crap last week, all my shares have dropped back. I'm hoping they will surge forward and form boxes so I can decide which ones I should buy. At the moment, I really have no idea which one to choose. It's fun charting though and I'm excited to see if I can get a doubler the first month!

Number one son made his acting debut in Hollywood last week, he is in a movie with Erick Avari!! Yay, looking forward to the red carpet!

OK, I've been doing the maths, and, I have set myself a yearly target! Of course these are only targets, but let's see how close I can get to each one! On the 1st of each month I will let you know!

Bank holiday

It's a bank holiday here today, Martin Luther Kings birthday I do believe! I didn't realise until about 11am!! Sharp as a button eh?

So no share news today, instead I'm catching up with UK telly, especially Dancing on Ice.Im hoping Comedy Dave Vitty does well. While I lived in Europe, always listened to the Chris Moyles show, so I'm routing for him. Speaking of Chris Moyles he has lost loads of weight, good on him. I miss his sacasim and dry wit, have to get a Sirius radio me thinks.

Not much else happening, number 1 son back to work after a pro-longed Xmas break, so will be quiet around the house. I'm going to make the most of the peace and enjoy the sun. After all, that's what bank holidays are for!! Have a good one, where ever and what ever you do.

Excited

I'm so excited and looking forward to this week!! I have such good feelings that I have reached a turning point in my life!

I'm waiting for a break through in my share charts, well a new break through of current boxes, so it will point me to which share I buy into next. I am so positive that we are at the beginning of a bull Market, I'm literally jumping up and down with anticipation!! Bring it on!

The Australian Open has started aswell... Yay ....... Go Andy Murray!! I would like to apologise in advance, I will probably bore every one witless with tennis talk!! It has already taken over every thing else in the Marigold household. So wee yay to the next 2 weeks of tennis!!

Also this week, I'm hopeful we will find the ex landlord who owes us 1000's in the American dollar. Can't wait to get hold of the slime ball.

Mr Marigold will hopefully get the new work contract finalised then we can treat ourselves to a shiny new car!!

That's what I call a perfect start to the new year......big yay !!!

Getting even

Wooo filled out the forms for the PI company today....yay. Read em and weep ex Mr Landlord, I'm gonna make life as difficult for you as I can, karma is a calling!!

Shares have been doing well again, have some new ones starting to march, will tell you which ones next week, hope to buy back into the Market. Have spent the last 2 weeks charting, going for one which is up at least 20% on the month and doubled it's volume. Charting 20 odd shares at the moment, but have it narrowed to 3 or 4. It's definitely the start of a new bull!!

Happy times ahead, and rich I hope !!

It's Wednesday!

Hey everyone its Wednesday, half way through the week weewoo!

It's been a lovely warm sunny day today, just how you imagine so-cal weather to be! Its a pity the world didn't share in my happy mood!

I watched This Morning today and they were slagging off Katie Price, I don't like the woman but they should leave her alone. Then I watched Sarah Palin spout a load of rubbish, she really should not be allowed to walk the streets. Then the floods in Oz, floods and mud slides in Brazil, snow across half the states, money problems in Portugal and the euro zone.

Then it hit me!! Everything and every one is negative. No wonder we are all down in the mouth and depressed, only the bad seems to make the news. Wouldn't it be nice if we sat down to watch Eastenders and someone won the lottery? We put on the news and instead of shootings there was the Queen getting pissed at her local and dancing on her way home with Phil!! It wouldn't happen would it, it just wouldn't happen!

Well, to escape all bad depressing stuff, if I can make a living off the shares, then I have decided I'm going to buy a little house on the beach in Jamaica or some where chilled like that. I want to live a chilled life, with happy positive people.

My new philosophy.... Don't worry, be happy!

Dull Tuesday

Today was as dull as the weather! At least we don't have buckets full of rain like those poor people in Australia, I really feel for them.

Need to find a new share to buy into, have been a little distracted of late, but the markets have been bouyant and I'm certain the right one will make it's presence known, shortly. BSQR would have been ideal, NCT is having another flourish also. But, I was caught napping, so need to find a share building it's first boxes, I've found them before and I'm sure I will find one again!

Decided to get my act together instead of whinging. Have contacted a private investigator to find that nasty piece of work who calls himself a landlord and whose wife calls herself a US diplomat.... Yeah right, I'm sure she is. If anyone has problems with landlords in Carlsbad CA, let me know, and if it's the same one, I will happily pass on their where abouts when I find them!!

So positivity into tomorrow, Mr Marigold is trying to secure a new work contract. The company who brought us over from Italia are not paying enough for us to live on, and, after all, you go to work for the cash not the fun of it! I so miss our Italian villa, it was beautiful. So looking a moving from this tiny apartment in March when our lease is up. It would be good to finally start living and making friends in this new country.

Please shout at me if I get negative, need to be positive and get the things sorted that are bugging me, need to start a new fitness regime also! Care to join me??

2nd week off the year

Well we are properly into 2011 now.

It was quite a good week in the Marigold household. Still have not managed to locate the missing landlord and still no sign of the money he owes us from 3 months ago. I came across a web page where you name and shame bad landlords, can't remember what it was called but it was something like Angry Tenents @ blogspot, maybe we should start a revolt! So if anyone has any ideas how to find this annoying individual, then I would love to hear from you. He probably does this all the time.

Waiting to be paid from someone else too, why are we always waiting for money? If i paid my bills this late, I would be disconnected from something or have bad credit, so why is it companies can get away with it?

The DVM is annoying too. We bought a car in August, from an auction. It had no plates on it which is quite normal for over here from what I understand. So we sent the paper work off last September and still have not heard back. This is in spite of emails and letters being sent, so Mr Marigold has booked an appointment to sort it out. Can't get an appointment within 3 weeks and it means taking an afternoon off work and loosing pay. Mean while, he has been pulled over by the cops 3 times as he has no plates. Really, it is such a ridiculous situation to be in. In this day and age, they really should have their act together!

Ok, I've had my moan today, I won't even get started on the postal system and the amount if mail which hasn't arrived or has got here opened! I've never had so many problems! Is all this normal for the states? It's like 1 step forward 760 back!!

Anyway, shares! I have been charting, but alas, all these problems are preventing me from buying in. At the beginning of December, one of the shares I found has done incredibly well, BSQR, it's just so frustrating looking at it and not being able to buy any, it's only gone up 300% since mid november! A real Darvas share.

Well, I'm fighting back and I can't wait to be buying into a share just like that one and telling you how much I have made. Just wish those days would blimmin hurry up!!

Finding absent landlord

Yay it's 2011! Happy new year to everyone

First task of the new year.... finding my ex landlord who owes me approximate $6,000! How do I find him? He doesn't live at the house I rented, he said (while I was renting the house) that he was living in Mexico as his wife is a diplomat there. All mail is re-directed, he doesn't answer emails, probably changed it anyway, and I have no phone number.

I have asked a neighbour who has a spare key, but she is keeping shut to his where abouts. I don't know his SS number.

So if anyone has any ideas, please let me know

Apart from that, I'm moving forward in a happy positive way...bring it on
